One day in December 2011, three men who devote their waking hours to spreading the word about cloud technologies gathered in a Japanese-style tavern in Seattle, the birthplace of Amazon Web Services. As the alcohol flowed, they realized the need for design patterns, which could function as a common language for evangelizing cloud technologies, and began jotting down over 40 cloud design patterns on the spot. This historic event marked the debut of the "Ninja Of Three", who have been working tirelessly to promote Cloud Design Patterns ever since.
